American artist Snax, known as Paul Bonomo, is a versatile musician who has traversed various genres from punk to funk to disco throughout his career. Originally hailing from the suburbs of Washington D.C., he later moved to San Francisco, New York City, and currently resides in Berlin. Snax's musical journey includes founding the gay art rock band Fagbash and being part of the disco-pop group Captain Comatose. As a solo artist, he has produced multiple releases, showcasing his proficiency in writing, performing, and producing most instruments and vocals himself. His discography spans electronic soul, house, deep house, abstract, ambient, and disco styles. Snax's performances and DJ sets are characterized by provocation, sleaze, and fun, creating a direct connection with the audience. Collaborations with artists such as Jamie Lidell, Peaches, Joey Arias, and Terranova have marked his career. Known for his entertaining style, Snax is currently working on his fourth album while running his label and developing his house music alter ego, Box Office Poison.
