Soichi Terada is a renowned figure in the realm of house music from Tokyo, Japan. His work gained international recognition through Hunee's "Sounds From The Far East" showcase on Rush Hour label, revealing his unique blend of naive yet emotionally resonant sounds to a wider audience. Throughout his extensive career dating back to the '80s, Terada has contributed to various projects, including soundtracks for computer games like Ape Escape and numerous releases on Far East Recordings alongside Shinichiro Yokota. His discography includes tracks such as "Sunshower (Vox)" with Nami Shimada and "Hohai Beats," both tagged under deep house, and "Voices From Beyond," associated with the 90s sound of Japan.
