DJ and producer Maik Zellmann, known by his stage name Strichkot, hails from Germany. His musical style is characterized by a focus on Tech House, as evidenced in releases such as "Trompeta De La Vida" (2011) and "Latin Chika EP" (2011). Strichkot's artistic identity is rooted in his passion for electronic music, which was ignited by Nathan Fake's track "The Sky is Pink." His sets are meticulously crafted, showcasing an attention to detail that has earned him performances alongside renowned DJs like Pan Pot, Paul Kalkbrenner, Timo Maas, Ricardo Villalobos, and many others at various exotic locations worldwide. Strichkot's sets often reflect his involvement in the "Summerwave" Generation, a collective he helped form that seeks to create moments of euphoria reminiscent of an imagined secret island with endless sunshine.
