Paulita

Paulita, a Los Angeles native with Chilean roots now residing in Berlin, is a dynamic DJ known for her extensive archive of Brazilian disco, deep-cut funk, raw disco, and slow-burning soulful house. Her energetic presence and penchant for "dance-as-resistance" echo the defiant spirit of her parents who, during 70s Chilean military curfews, found freedom in a local club called CACTUS. This legacy is reflected in Paulita's co-founding of the CACTUS collective and her mixtape series Sobremesa Sounds. In the booth, she leads by example, turning every set into a physical exchange of energy.
