Thomash

Thomash, a pioneer in electronic music, blends South American elements with contemporary electronica, creating a psychedelic dreamscape. As one of the founders of Voodoohop, he has made significant contributions to the Brazilian underground scene, with his sound encompassing slow melodic techno, krautrock, synthesizer layers, psychedelia, dub, and ritualistic tropical rhythms. Born in Germany and living in Brazil for a decade, Thomash seamlessly integrates Latin roots with German minimalism. His unique style is further enhanced by his degree in artificial intelligence, allowing for oddly spaced percussion and detuned synthesizers within a machine-learning universe. Thomash's recent release, Gaswerksiedlung (2019), showcases his electronic and tribal sound on the Chillmountain Rec label.

Thomash played in Dubstation at Fusion festival 2025.
