
Tomoki Tamura
Tomoki Tamura, a renowned figure in the dance music scene, began his journey in Japan before moving to London in 2004. His establishment of the HOLIC nights led him to perform at prestigious venues such as Fabric, Ministry of Sound, and Plastic People. He held a residency at The END / AKA from 2007 to 2009. HOLIC brought quality house and techno DJs to London, also securing a permanent residency at Womb in Tokyo. Tomoki played a significant role as the underground music ambassador between Tokyo and London. In 2012, he launched HOLIC TRAX, a label that showcases a unique raw take on house music. Notable releases include works from Mr. G, Tuccillo, Rick Wade, Chris Carrier, Ekkohaus & Rufus, Kate Simko, and Robert Dietz. Tomoki is also one half of Doublet, a collaboration with Italian Ibiza resident Tuccillo. HOLIC TRAX serves as the primary outlet for their raw and moody house tracks. Despite his accomplishments in production and label management, Tomoki remains a dedicated DJ, currently residing in Berlin. His recent releases include the Retro City EP (2018) under the Genres: Electronic — Styles: Tech House — Labels: Unblock, and the 5ive Years EP (2017) under the Genres: Electronic — Styles: Deep House, Techno — Labels: Holic Trax.
