Siren Sisters ft. MC Treasure Irie

Siren Sisters, a duo deeply rooted in roots music, draw inspiration from Rastafari and sound system culture in Jamaica and the UK. Their sets feature deep roots, meditative dub, and heavy steppas, aiming to provoke thought and resonate with listeners' souls while addressing social issues and resisting the Babylonian system. MC Treasure Irie, an Ecuadorian-born singer, often joins them, adding live sampling and spoken word lyrics to their performances. The duo has graced stages at DubCamp in France, HIMDub Festival in Portugal, Fusion Festival near Berlin, and numerous other venues. Their sound system serves not only as a platform for music but also as a space for connection, healing, meditation, and celebration. Siren Sisters have been organizing sessions at Feierwerk, Munich since 2008, and in 2023 they launched their new regular OMEGA DUB CIRCLE. They strive to empower women in the music scene and have provided a platform for over 100 female artists since 2008. In 2019, they founded the women’s collective LIONESS AWAKE.
