Typ

Jonny Knuppel, known professionally as Typ, is a Berlin-based DJ, producer, and live performer. As the head of his own label SIGNAL, he crafts immersive, emotive performances that blend intense feelings and heartfelt moments with danceable rhythms. His live acts are renowned for their unique, unpredictable nature, each one offering a fresh experience. Typ's discography includes releases such as "Bewegung (Original)" and "Zeitzapfen (Original)", showcasing his signature techno sound. He has also shared DJ sets and mixes at various venues, including Sisyphos Hammahalle and Sarasvatis Fest Der Verflechtung.

Typ played in Sektamt at Bucht der Träumer festival 2026 and in Dampfer at Sisyphos Nichtgeburtstag 2024 on 4 October 2024.
