Faravaz

Faravaz Farvardin, born in 1990, is an independent singer known for her diverse musical style that spans pop, rock, folk, and fusion genres. With over 25 released songs and 5 music videos to her name, she has gained widespread acclaim. As a musician and activist, Faravaz is a prominent figure in her generation, blending Western music styles with Iranian folkloric music. Her advocacy includes the "Right to Sing" campaign, fighting against violence towards women, particularly for Iranian female singers who are prohibited from performing in their home country. Her motto, "I take back my right to sing!", encapsulates her artistic identity and activism.
