neànder's music blends Post-Rock, Underground Metal, and elements of Doom and Black Metal, creating sweeping ambient soundscapes with Black Sabbath-influenced droning riffs. Their self-titled debut album, recorded in 2018, features five hypnotic chapters designed for immersive listening, and was mixed by Jan Oberg from Earth Ship and mastered by Magnus Lindberg from Cult of Luna. The band, consisting of members from Blackgazers And, Hardcore Punks Patsy O' Hara, Berlin Sludgers Earth Ship, and live band members from Casper, have chosen to keep their music instrumental to maintain a broad musical vision. Their debut album is set for release on February 22nd via Through Love Records, a Hamburg-based DIY label known for releasing records by artists such as God Is An Astronaut, Fjørt, Wayste, Lirr, and Svalbard.
