Wa jima Tapes, hailing from Ras el Ein, is a versatile DJ and archivist known for his eclectic mixes. His sets often showcase a fusion of global sounds, with an emphasis on Dub, Jungle, Arab Raggae, and Mediterranean Beats. In 2026, he graced the decks at the Fusion Festival with his set titled "Wa jima ꆛ Fusion Festival | Dubstation." Previously, in 2022, he played at Boom Festival and was a guest mixer for Batov Records on Netil Radio. His repertoire also includes an exploratory journey showcasing Arab Hip Hop, North African chants, and shepherd poetry from 2020.
