Yamkela Kasana, known as Yamz, blends R&B with a unique African twist. Active since 2018, this South African-Cameroonian artist showcases a versatile talent as a singer, songwriter, and DJ. Yamz's repertoire includes covers of popular tracks by Drake and SZA, as well as original compositions like "Never Calling". Their soundcloud releases often feature tags such as R&B and Afro-influenced genres like Afrotech. In addition to studio work, Yamz has showcased their skills in live sets and mixes, such as the upbeat Electronic and House-infused "YAMZ | GARBICZ -SEEBÜHNE SET 2025" and the ambient Deep House-focused "Bazique Festival // Main Stage 2024// CTEMF".
