Yemen Blues Official, founded by Ravid Kahalani in 2010, is a unique ensemble of musicians from NYC, Uruguay, and Tel Aviv, blending Yemenite, West African, and Jazz influences into a distinctive sound they call "New Age Culture Music". The group's powerful energy features mambo and North African rhythms, ancient Arabic chants mixed with funk and blues, and a fusion of diverse backgrounds and sounds.
