Yemen Blues

Yemen Blues Official, led by Ravid Kahalani, is a unique ensemble that blends Yemenite, West African, and Jazz influences to create a distinctive "New Age Culture Music." The group consists of musicians from New York City, Uruguay, and Tel Aviv, including Rony Iwryn, Itamar Doari, and Shanir Blumenkranz. Their sound is characterized by mambo and North African rhythms, ancient Arabic chant-like vocals, and funk and blues elements. In 2018, they released "It's all Love," a collaboration with Omer Avital, and the album "9 Baraca." Their live performances have been acclaimed by various media outlets, earning them recognition as an exciting and unique act on international stages such as Womex World Expo, Roskilde Festival Denmark, New York Central Park’s Summer Stage, and Luminato Toronto Canada.
