Aircraft, founded in 2011 in Kyiv, Ukraine, creates a unique blend of lo-fi sounds, gentle vocals reminiscent of early Depeche Mode, warm and brooding guitar motifs, and classic drum machine and synthesizer tones, echoing Cocteau Twins and A.R. Kane. Their music, often displaying light irony similar to John Maus, can also delve into the depressive and gothic, as heard in their latest album Sadhu (2023). Aircraft's music is popular on Spotify and TikTok, with their track Aeria going viral. Based in Berlin, they are known for their DJ performances across Europe.
