Ariwo

Ariwo, a four-piece ensemble based in London, UK, fuses electronic and ancestral music, with Iranian electronic composer Pouya Ehsaei collaborating with three prominent Cuban musicians: Hammadi Valdes from Irakere, Latin Grammy winner for percussion virtuosity; Yelfris Valdes, lead trumpeter of Sierra Maestra; and Oreste Noda, a pioneer in London's Cuban music scene. Their latest releases include the albums Quasi (2019) and Ariwo (2017), as well as the single Pyramid (2018).
