Arne Schattenberg

Arne Schattenberg, known professionally as 3000Grad, is a Berlin-based artist with roots in industrial towns. Raised amidst coal and steel, pilsbier, and punk rock, he revisited his roots in his early twenties, returning to gritty sounds and dirty halls. Initially drumming on the floor left, he transitioned behind the decks by 2010. After numerous local projects and countless hours spent pressing play buttons and turning knobs in smoky venues, a breath of fresh air was needed. He joined the colorful traveling circus of 3000Grad in Mecklenburg, touring Germany with his sets ever since. His Soundcloud releases include "Quatschen" (2013), "beat conductor" (2013) tagged as 'conductor', and "Dissonanz der Klänge" (2011). His sets encompass a blend of electronic music, reflecting his journey from the heartland to the dancefloor.
