
Cleveland Watkiss
Cleveland Watkiss, a multidisciplinary artist, launched 'The Great Jamaican Songbook Vol. 1' in 2022. Known for co-founding the Jazz Warriors big band and collaborating with Julian Joseph, he also made a significant impact as a drum and bass vocalist and MC, working with Goldie, Marque "the innamost" Gilmore, and DJ La Rouge. His extensive musical journey spans jazz, drum and bass, and more, culminating in the roots-reggae oriented 'The Great Jamaican Songbook', a project that showcases his deep understanding of Jamaican music and culture. Notable releases include 'Satta Massagana' (2017) and 'Babylon Too Rough' (2021).
