Multidisciplinary artist Cleveland Watkiss, winner of the 2021 Ivors Composer Award For Innovation, is known for his impact across various musical genres. As co-founder of Jazz Warriors, collaborator with Julian Joseph, and vocalist for Goldie's Metalheadz label, he has made a unique career journey, refusing to be defined or pigeonholed. His latest project, 'The Great Jamaican Songbook Vol. 1', offers a roots-reggae orientated showcase, interpreting and presenting the origins and development of Jamaican music and culture.
