Lady Maru

Lady Maru, a prominent figure in the international hard dance scene, is renowned for her high-energy sets that straddle the 160–175 BPM range. Her sound is a potent fusion of Industrial Hard Techno, Schranz, old-school Hardcore, and Acid, delivering an unyielding sonic assault on dancefloors worldwide. With roots in punk and noise arts, Lady Maru brings a raw, anti-conformist energy to her performances, making her a staple in Italy's hardest clubbing circuits, including Cieloterra Roma. Her sets have earned her a reputation for commanding and obliterating high-velocity dancefloors. In addition to her work as a DJ, Lady Maru is also active as a musician for post-punk live projects and a sound designer for theatre, dance, and art installations. Known for her dynamic and energetic sets, she has become a regular resident at Cieloterra Roma. Under the aliases Hardkore Vestal (for beats over 180bpm) and Mind that Ghost (for more classic techno beats), Lady Maru continues to push boundaries in the hard dance underground.
