DJ Pierre

DJ Pierre, a multifaceted figure in the music industry, hails from Chicago, Illinois. Known for pioneering the acid house sound with Phuture in the 1980s, he later signed to Jive Records and moved to New York, where he developed the 'wild pitch' style. As an A&R at Strictly Rhythm, he contributed significantly to the dance music scene before founding DJP Records and Afro Acid Muzik (Afro Acid Plastik). Currently based in Duluth, his recent releases include "House Music Always" on Get Physical Music, showcasing a blend of minimal, house, and acid house styles.
