Esinam & Sibusile Xaba

Esinam, a Brussels-based artist, is renowned for her versatile musical style that blends elements from various global cultures. With a deep affinity for percussion instruments like the 'tama' and the flute as her primary instrument, she crafts compositions that reflect diverse geographical, cultural, and musical influences. In live performances, Esinam prioritizes freedom, keeping her setlists minimal to allow ample room for improvisation. She has collaborated with notable acts such as Marock'in Brass, Kel Assouf, Teme Tan, and Sysmo, and has been a guest artist on Baloji's latest record. Esinam released her debut EP on September 21, 2018, through Sdban Ultra. Her unique musical universe has caught the attention of artists like Alsarah & The Nubatunes and Selah Sue, who have invited her to open for their sold-out concerts.
