Grandbrothers

Grandbrothers, a piano/experimental duo from Dusseldorf (Germany), create music using a self-built system of electromagnetic hammers to trigger a grand piano as a drum machine. Their compositions consist entirely of sounds derived from the grand piano. Their recent releases, "Elsewhere" (2025), showcase their unique blend of electronic, ambient, and modern classical styles. The duo, consisting of pianist Erol Sarp and engineer/software designer Lukas Vogel, have been recognized for their fusion of the old and new in music.
