Grup Simsek, a dynamic super-quintet, specializes in an electrified blend of Turkish music and modern grooves. Their performances often incorporate elements of Psychedelia, Jazz, and Funk, as exemplified by tracks like "Nem Kaldı - EP version" (2016) and "Dom Dom Kursunu live at Venezia Biennale" (2016). Led by Derya Yıldırım's captivating Saz and vocals, the group reinterprets Turkish classics from artists such as Selda Bagcan, Barıs Manco, and Ozdemir Erdogan, while also showcasing their originality through unique compositions and improvisational skills.
