HHY & the Kampala Unit, a collective spearheaded by Jonathan Saldanha (HHY & The Macumbas), delves into an innovative fusion of dub, techno, traditional drumming, and trance, interwoven with haunting cinematic passages. This collaborative project features Saldanha on electronics and production alongside Florence Lugemwa, a visionary trumpet player and ghetto activist, creating a unique sonic landscape.
