Hypnotic Black Magic

Berlin and Lisbon-based DJ and producer Hypnotic Black Magic is renowned for her ritualistic, trippy, and uplifting sets that take audiences on euphoric journeys. As the head of Art Bei Ton, she has shaped the scene through hypnotic sounds, psychedelic visuals, and gender-balanced lineups since 2018. Inspired by nostalgic and avant-garde electronic sounds, Hypnotic Black Magic's music taste revolves around hypnotic techno, atmospheric ambient, psychedelic sounds, and IDM/tribe. Her sets feature loopy patterns, dreamy pads, groovy rhythms, and trancey basslines, aiming to drive the audience through a cathartic journey. Between 2020 and 2023, she co-owned an underground club in Berlin, providing a launchpad for emerging collectives to shape their identities and push sonic boundaries. Hypnotic Black Magic has captivated dancefloors at iconic venues worldwide, including Berghain/Panorama and Tresor in Berlin, VENT in Tokyo, Gare in Porto, Ministerium in Lisbon, vurt. in Seoul, HORN in Bangkok, and Hilltop in Goa, among others. In 2025, she released her EP 'Passages' on Art Bei Ton, followed by her album 'Ending The Curse' in March 2026. She has also contributed tracks to several VA compilations.
