Inner Child

Psybass / Ambient / Psychill project from Split, Croatia Inner Child, the alias of marine biologist and musician Sara Niksic, blends electronic music with nature recordings, particularly ocean sounds. Her compositions traverse downtempo styles, often incorporating elements of storytelling and singer-songwriter elements. Inner Child's award-winning music, which includes collaborations with top electronic producers, has been featured in global media outlets such as The New Yorker and BBC Radio. Through her Inner Child Music label, she has released several albums of her own music and compilations. Notable releases include "Canticum Megapterae II - The Evolution" (2022) and "Witchcraft" (2020). Her work has been presented at major scientific conferences and music festivals worldwide, including Fusion Festival, Twisted Frequency Festival, and Boom Festival. Currently based in her homeland of Croatia, Inner Child continues to create music and magical stories in her studio by the sea.
