iNSANLAR, a collective of Turkish musicians including Cem Yıldız, Baris K, Alican Tezer, and others, emerged in late 2010 as an in-house band for the Anatolian pop/rock revival series, Minipop. Their unique shamanistic techno folk hybrid, rooted in Anatolian Alewi religious poetry, gained a mystic following with energetic, punkish shows. International recognition came with the release of "Kime Ne" on Honest Jon's label in 2015. Recent releases include "Demedim Mi" on Rush Hour Records, showcasing their blend of electronic, folk, and world music styles.
