iNSANLAR, a collective of Turkish musicians including Cem Yıldız, Baris K, Alican Tezer, and others, emerged in late 2010 as an in-house band for the Minipop series. Their unique shamanistic techno folk hybrid, rooted in Anatolian Alewi religious poetry, gained a mystic following and international recognition with the release of "Kime Ne" on Honest Jon's label in 2015. Their recent releases, such as "Demedim Mi" on Rush Hour, continue to blend traditional Anatolian/Mesopotamian instrumentation, electronic music, and spiritual/philosophical lyrics, captivating festival audiences with their idiosyncratic sound.
