Kælan Mikla
Kælan Mikla is a three-piece post-punk/dark wave band from Reykjavik, formed in 2013 after winning a poetry slam. Their music combines raw punk vibes with quirky Icelandic visions, featuring cinematic layers of synth, ethereal vocals sung in their native tongue, spine-chilling screams, driving bass, and programmed drums. Kælan Mikla's discography includes releases such as Stjörnuljós (2024), Hvítir Sandar (2021), Undir Köldum Norðurljósum (2021), and Nott Eftir Nott (2018). Their sound envelops the listener in a world of folklore, fairytales, magic, and mysticism.
