King David, a reggae artist, fell in love with Jamaican music as a teenager and started collecting records at 16. He established King David Soundsystem in 1995, continually evolving it from a 500-watt system to playing for approximately 10,000 people by 2010. After living in Berlin's reggae/soundsystem scene from 2000 until around 2012, he returned in 2022 with King David Soundsystem 2.0 and is set to launch his label "Ital Breakfast Records" and host the "Ital Breakfast Radioshow" on Heartical FM and Omy Radio monthly.
