Kollektiv Turmstrasse, a German electronic music duo founded in 1999 by Nico Plagemann and Christian Hilscher, has been a significant force in the global techno and house scene. With releases on labels like Kompakt, Diynamic, Cocoon, Fabric, and FFFR, their sound encompasses house music, breakbeat, indie dance, techno, and hints of hip-hop and modern pop. Since Hilscher's departure in 2021, Plagemann continues as a solo artist, focusing on the liberated space between driving house tracks and dancefloor anthems.
