Metatext, the alias of Henning Riez, is a versatile producer known for his extensive work in various projects as a producer, mixing engineer, and mastering engineer. His musical journey began at thirteen, initially focusing on HipHop before transitioning into electronic music. Since the inception of Metatext, he has released tracks on labels such as Down, Kiosk ID, Under Your Skin, Magician On Duty, Wayu Records, and more. Collaborations with artists like Thomas Atzmann, Ninze & Okaxy, Shkoon, Lina & Gwen, Christian Hulshoff, Echoel, Karhua, and others have further enriched his discography. Metatext's sound spans across Tech House, Techno, and Downtempo genres, as evidenced in releases like the Lungern EP (2021) on down. label.
