Moritz Fasbender
Moritz Fasbender explores the intersection of classical piano and electronic music. Known for composing for film, theater, and radio, this alias allows the Leipzig-based pianist and composer Friederike Bernhardt to focus on solo pieces with subtle electronic integration. She illuminates the gap between acoustic and electronic piano, not just with reverb or filter, but by enhancing the existing, boundless world of the piano with a precise, concrete sound design language. This approach satisfies her playful nature while also addressing her ADHD, as she admits. We, however, find no fault with her music — quite the opposite.
Moritz Fasbender hat gespielt im Luftschloss beim Fusion festival 2025.
