Electronic music producer Newa hails from Bassiani in the city of Tbilisi, Georgia. Known for his ambient and drone-infused electronic soundscapes, he has released several tracks such as "if nothing exists outside the universe, what is it expanding into?" (2025), "თათას და სერგოს თემა" (2025), and "tinkerbell ending scene" (2025). His discography includes releases like "Equilibrium" (2024) under Bassiani, "Klockworks 25" (2019) from Klockworks, "Split One" (2018) on Semantica Records, and "CDT002" (2017) and "Hedgehog" (2013) on La Chinerie and Subspiele Records respectively. His set at Nation of Gondwana 2025 is also noteworthy.
