Nightmares on Wax, led by George "DJ E.A.S.E." Evelyn, is a pioneering electronic act with roots dating back to 1988. Originally formed alongside Kevin "Boywonder" Harper, the duo released their debut album, Smokers Delight, before Harper's departure. Live performances often featured MC Toz 180 and guitarist Chris Dawkins. Their discography spans various genres, including Deep House, Downtempo, Trip Hop, Dub, Hip-Hop/Rap, Reggae, Funk/Soul, Afro-Cuban, Neo Soul, and Contemporary Soul-Jazz. Recent releases include Patang under 20:20 Vision and multiple versions of In A Space Outta Sound through Warp Records, Beat Records, and On-U Sound. Their sound encompasses a fusion of electronic beats, dub influences, and soulful melodies, showcasing their versatility and enduring presence in the music industry.
