NOMMO

Nommo is the collaborative project between Evehive and Kontronatura, which began in 2021. Their sound blends Afrofuturistic Club Music with percussive Techno, along with other rhythms that merge with Brazilian influences such as Funk and Samba. Within the Dogon Cosmogony, Nommo is an androgynous twin entity originating from Sirius, who are said to have brought astronomical knowledge to the Dogon people. As trans bodies in a state of self-discovery, they draw inspiration from this dual energy in constant transformation. Their release "SIRIUS" was shared on Soundcloud in 2023.
