Okklumentim, the musical alias of Tim Wilkens, is a German artist whose sound is rooted in psychedelic trance with a darker edge. Starting as a drummer in hardcore and punk bands at age ten, he transitioned to electronic dance music in 2007 before focusing on vinyl DJing and later production. His musical journey led him to experiment with psychedelic sound design, resulting in the creation of Okklumentim in 2019. This project emphasizes dark atmospheres, textures from modular synthesis, acoustic drums, and field recordings inspired by life and nature. Notable releases include "178_apnoevil (WIP)" and "200 Delirium" from 2024, and "200 Orbital" from 2023.
