Portable

Portable, the live electronic project of South African artist Alan Abrahams, is based in Paris. Known for his contributions to house, minimal techno, and experimental electronic music, Portable's performances are characterized by a blend of rhythmic depth, evolving textures, and vocal elements. His sets are renowned for their fluid transition between club energy and improvisational structures, ensuring each performance is unique. Released in 2023, the album "Guiding Me" showcases Portable's distinctive style. Previous releases include "Say It’s Going To Change" (vinyl, 2016) and "Alan Abrahams" (CD, 2016). In 2016, Portable Aka Bodycode also released the album "African Ambient Live at Funkhaus".
