SKAVA

SKAVA, the stage name of Lotta Skogvall, is a self-composing and producing artist whose music blends Downtempo, Soul, and HipHop. Born and raised in Berlin, she began playing Jazz Clarinet and Piano at an early age and wrote her first original songs at 11. Influenced by the Berlin Techno and Goa scene, she developed a style that combines meditative, sometimes psychedelic sounds with kick-laden beats. Emotional German lyrics about love, self-discovery, and the Berlin nightlife, paired with soulful vocals, transport listeners into a state that propels them into the here and now. Live performances feature a band consisting of Guitar, Drums, and E-Bass playing simultaneously to an atmospheric self-produced backing track. Sometimes introspective, sometimes trance-like, sometimes dancey - it's a journey through the sound and emotional landscapes of SKAVA.
