Sven von Thülen

Sven von Thulen, known by his alias s:vt, is a prominent figure in Berlin's club culture since the mid-nineties. As a DJ, he has held residencies across the city and played at notable venues such as Berghain/Panorama Bar, Concrete in Paris, fabric in London, and Golden Pudel in Hamburg. His discography includes releases on labels like Work Them Records, Bpitch Control, Dred Records, and his own Expansion Unit and Constant Variables. Sven von Thulen has remixed A-list artists and continues to work as a DJ, producer, and writer. In 2012, he co-wrote an oral history of Berlin's techno scene titled Der Klang der Familie - Berlin, Techno and the Fall of the Wall, which was translated into French, English, Spanish, and Russian. His debut album Emanating was released in August 2020, with new music and film projects planned for late 2020 and 2021.
