TOM2K

Tom Zwotausend, alias TOM2K, is a DJ and operator of the platform Alternative Fakten, a curatorial experiment situated between label, movement, and musical counterproposal. With a vision of an open, progressive dancefloor, they explore the eccentric and obscure fringes of contemporary punk-, wave-, and disco-scenes. Leftfield for all! Based in Munich, Germany, their activities extend to local institutions such as Import Export, Radio 80000, or ZIRKA. They engage daily in disruptive activities at Bayerischer Rundfunk. Collaborating with collectives like the Polizeiklasse or AG Pappenheim, they intervene in public spaces as needed. TOM2K's musical style encompasses wave, punk, disco, lo-fi, EBM, and German cover songs, blending dance and experimental elements. Their discography includes releases such as "Rise (Radio Edit)" from 2015 and "Abendvibes" from 2010. They have also shared DJ sets and mixes like the Fusion Festival 2025 set and Pappen Position mix in collaboration with Karl Kutter.
