neànder

Neànder, active since 2017, blends Post-Metal, Doom, Stoner, and Ambient music with a touch of Black Metal. Their self-titled debut album, recorded in winter 2018, features hypnotic, instrumental tracks that lean towards ritualistic music. The band consists of musicians from various Berlin-based acts such as Patsy O' Hara, Earth Ship, and Casper. Their sound is characterized by sweeping Ambient music combined with the intensity of a Norwegian Black Metal group, creating epic songs that often exceed 10 minutes in length. Droning Doom riffs ascend into dreamy soundscapes, reminiscent of Black Sabbath's influence. Neànder's first album was released on February 22nd, 2019 via the Hamburg-based independent label Through Love Records.
