Yasmine Hamdan, a key figure in the Arabic music scene, emerged as co-founder of Soapkills alongside Zeid Hamdan in the late 1990s. Known for her innovative and influential work, she has since established herself as a singer-songwriter, producer, and performer. Her unique style effortlessly combines pan-Arab roots, poetic lyricism, electronica, soul, and guitar-driven melodies. Notably, Hamdan's voice gained international recognition through her appearance in Jim Jarmusch’s film Only Lovers Left Alive.
