Zen Baboon

Zen Baboon, a Portuguese duo comprising Daniel and Henrique, are known for their downtempo sound. Daniel, a former sound engineer at a National Geographic studio in Lisbon, began producing electronic music in 2000. Henrique, a zoologist, started as an downtempo DJ (DJ Henriq) in 2001 and as a producer in 2003. They combined their musical preferences in 2005 to form Zen Baboon, debuting at Boom Festival the same year. Since then, they have performed at numerous iconic clubs and festivals worldwide, with a notable dedication to production and multiple album and EP releases on various underground labels.
