Bacon Chang

Bacon Chang, known professionally as Hitoshi Shinjo, is a DJ from Japan with a passion for music that began in his youth. Influenced by various genres, he developed a love for music, recording J-pop songs and creating compilations. His interest in dance music grew during his school years, leading him to collect records and start DJing in Tokyo clubs. In 2013, Bacon Chang moved to Berlin, Germany, where he has built a career as a DJ, primarily performing in smaller European clubs. His musical style is characterized by a bright and joyful tone, blending melodic elements with a nostalgic feel. He focuses on disco, italo, and house genres, creating grooves and vibes on the dancefloor by seamlessly integrating diverse genres such as funk, jazzy, ambient, nudisco, italo-disco, and tech-house with his unique tastes and ideas. Bacon Chang's musical style has earned him a reputation on the international club scene and continues to captivate audiences.
