Aleph Quintet, internationally recognized musicians from Brussels, push the boundaries of their art with their new project "Hiwar," an audacious fusion of modern jazz and North African traditional music. The album highlights their signature sound, a dialogue between cultures, heritages, and innovations. In Arabic, "Hiwar" means "dialogue," perfectly encapsulating the spirit of this work: a celebration of exchanges between identities learning from each other. Each member contributes their universe and experience, creating a powerful, rooted, and contemporary collective vision. Aleph Quintet has received numerous awards, including "Revelation" by Jazz Magazine, "4 stars" by Le Soir, "Best Belgian Jazz Album" by Jazz a Liege, the "Prix de la Presse Musicale Francaise," "Tanit d'argent" at the Journees Musicales de Carthage. They have performed in numerous countries throughout the year, including Belgium, France, Spain, Germany, Tunisia, Jordan, England, Scotland, among others.
