Alienata, a Spanish artist based in Berlin, is known for their eclectic sound that encompasses various genres such as electro, ACID, dub, IDM, dark disco, jakbeat, hypnotic techno, and industrial atmospheres. With influences from Detroit and Chicago, Alienata's sets often incorporate obscure sounds and broken beats. Beginning their DJ career in 2000 as part of Valencia's Overflow Collective, they have since been involved in theatre, music technology workshops, and label operations. Their connection with Germany's dance music scene was established through Leipzig's Homoelektrik collective, and upon moving to Berlin, they found a home with the Killekill label and Krake Festival. Alienata is not only focused on DJing but has also released records under their project Kat Channel with Snuffo of the jacking house Snuff Crew. In 2017, they launched their own record label called Discos Atonicos to showcase their diverse musical influences.
