Bandua blends traditional Portuguese music with a contemporary, electronic folk sound, creating a unique fusion that has earned them critical acclaim. The duo, consisting of Edgar Valente on keyboard, percussion, and vocals, and Bernardo D'Addario on electronics, electric bass, keyboards, percussion, backing vocals, and production, released their self-titled debut album in 2022 on the now defunct Frente Bolivarista label. Known as one of Portugal's most exciting live electronic projects, they continue to push boundaries in the realm of musical fusion.
