Bläck Dävil

BLÄCK DÄVIL is a unique and unconventional artist whose love for rumbling basslines and fast beats was discovered at the Loveparade in 1998, between Siegessaule and Tiergarten. Since then, he has been scouring Berlin's record stores for samples to dismantle and reassemble, creating a danceable eclectic amalgam of various genres: Schlager, Hip Hop, Gabber, Hard Tek, Metal, Punk, Rap. This mix is colorful, eccentric, unheard-of, bold, and somehow reminiscent of one big party. BLÄCK DÄVIL has been active since 2018 as part of the Ick mach Welle! project, exploring different onstage contexts. Live performances by BLÄCK DÄVIL are known for their unique energy that brings laughter and dancing to the dancefloor, whether behind a drum machine, a synthesizer, or a microphone. BLÄCK DÄVIL is the Derwish who brings you to laugh and dance. Recent releases include the Schnäll Schnäll EP (2023), showcasing genres such as Electronic and styles like Techno, Electro, Acid, and Gabber.
