Carlo Karacho

Carlo Karacho emerged from Berlin's pulsating soundscape two years ago with the debut EP "CM Isolation." Without warning, the sound architect transports the peaks of New German Wave '85 into the present. Karacho fuses what has always belonged together but in recent times has become much less common. Thus, the raw DIY productions of the self-deprecating Thousand Assassins are marked by a nearly extravagant sense of melody that is hard to learn: either it's there – or it isn't. Spontaneity over frugality, so to speak.
