Christian Smith

Tech-House and Funky Techno DJ and producer. Christian Smith, born in Sweden, spent much of his youth and early adult life in Germany and America before relocating to Sao Paulo, Brazil in 2009. He is the founder of the Tronic label, which he restarted in 2009 after a two-year hiatus. His music style encompasses Progressive House and Techno genres, with recent releases on labels such as Tronic, Bedrock Records, Sudbeat, and Filth On Acid. His podcast series on Tronic continues to be syndicated worldwide. In 2024, he celebrated the 500th release on his label and reached the number one spot on Beatport in both Techno and Electro with an EP. Christian Smith's innovative and bold approach to techno has earned him a top position among global DJs and producers for over two decades.
