Ground

Ground, a DJ and producer based in Osaka, Japan, creates electronic music that evokes otherworldly ecosystems. With a focus on abstract styles, Ground processes and reconstructs sounds from around the world for the dancefloor. Ground has been active in Japan's underground music scene since starting DJing in his teens. He is a founder of the Chill Mountain collective and the General Producer of Chill Mountain Records (JP). Ground, along with sound engineer Kabamix and designer Mt.chills, has performed at various festivals and events in over 27 countries. Ground's discography includes seven albums, seven EP releases, and numerous singles and collaborations. His 2018 world debut album SUNIZM was released on the LA label ESP Institute. Recent releases on Chillmountain Rec include "What Your Tempo" and "IkoIkoIko (Akio Nagase Remix)".
